The Best Cinnamon Rolls for Anytime
There is not much that will get me out of bed early on a Saturday morning. But just the smell of cinnamon rolls wafting from the kitchen gets me floating down the hallway like a cartoon character being guided by my nose.
Now, I am no pastry snob. My cinnamon rolls are not made from scratch. I use Pillsbury Grands. And I have no shame about it! I have, however, learned a few tricks to take these delicious rolls and make them positively decetant.
This recipe is so easy, and actually, it doesn’t add any extra time. You can do the mixing while your oven preheats! And while they are baking to perfection – I have a bonus recipe to make those little cans of Icing go a bit further!!
Ingredients Needed
- 2 Cans of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 ½ Sticks of Butter
- 1 Cup of Brown Sugar
Preparing the Rolls
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Step 2: While the oven is warming, melt 1 ½ stick of butter in a small saucepan.
- Step 3: Add in brown sugar and stir until completely melted and combined with butter.
- Step 4: Open cans of rolls and place in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Set the Icing cups to the side.
- Step 5: Pour the brown sugar mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Step 6: Drizzle the heavy cream over the top.
- Step 7: When the oven reaches 350 degrees, place cinnamon rolls in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Step 8: Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and spread icing over the tops of the rolls. (If you want extra icing, follow my bonus recipe below while your rolls are in the oven).

Finally: Serve and Enjoy!
