Tybee Island sounds like an absolute gem! The blend of history, nature, and relaxation makes it such a versatile destination. I’m particularly intrigued by the wildlife—seeing loggerhead sea turtles in their natural habitat must be incredible. The culinary scene also seems like a dream for seafood lovers. I wonder, though, how crowded does it get during peak seasons? Is it still possible to find those serene spots, or does it get overwhelming? Also, are there any lesser-known activities or hidden gems on the island that most visitors might miss? I’d love to hear more about the local culture and any tips for making the most of a trip there. What’s your favorite thing about Tybee Island?

Tybee Island is lovely! The crowds aren’t as bad as most of the other coastal destination spots – I have been there during May – June and had the beach by our hotel all to ourselves! It was amazing! My favorite “hidden gem” on Tybee is Back River Beach. It is a lesser visited area of the island (so it is peaceful). It has everything you need – food, fishing, water activities, and gorgeous sunsets! If you head to Tybee, I would love to know what you think and which places are your favorite!
